MASP is pleased to announce the third Edição de Arte [Art Edition], a project developed in partnership with artists to raise donations for the maintenance of the museum`s activities. This edition was launched on the occasion of the exhibition Dalton Paula: retratos brasileiros [Dalton Paula: Brazilian Portraits] and presents 150 silkscreens by the artist, numbered and signed, of the works Zeferina and João de Deus Nascimento. The works were donated to the museum by the artist for the exhibition Histórias afro-atlânticas [Afro-Atlantic Histories], in 2018.

Dalton Paula was born in Brasília, Brasil, in 1982 and lives and works in Goiânia, Brasil, where he graduated in Visual Arts at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). His works are part of MASP’s collection, as well as significant international ones, such as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York, and the Art Institute of Chicago, both in the United States.
